Recycling Light Bulbs
"It's a Light Bright Idea"
At ERS, we began with a simple question: "Is there a safer, greener way to dispose of lightbulbs?" After witnessing outdated and harmful disposal methods—where fluorescent lamps were often broken and tossed in the trash—our founder set out to revolutionize the process.
Today, we offer a cutting-edge, eco-friendly recycling solution for businesses that need to manage large-scale lighting waste. Whether you're handling bulk lightbulb disposal or looking for sustainable lighting disposal services, ERS has you covered. Our fluorescent and LED bulb recycling processes exceed environmental standards, making compliance with lighting disposal regulations simple for your business.
With a team of mechanical engineers, industrial hygienists, and environmental technicians, we’ve developed a method for industrial light recycling services that handles everything from commercial lighting waste collection to the safe disposal of energy-efficient bulbs.
Whether upgrading your lighting systems or dealing with ongoing commercial lightbulb recycling needs, ERS provides reliable, responsible solutions for lighting waste management.
We recycle all lights manufactured, such as fluorescent tubes, CFLs, U-Bents, Mercury Vapor, Metal Halide, and High Intensity Discharge (HID) bulbs. Our expertise lies in extracting the hazardous gases present in these bulbs, followed by the crushing and recycling of the glass. Additionally, we ensure the removal and recycling of all metal and electrical components, leaving no trace behind.
Linear Fluorescent
High output fluorescents are commonly used in warehouses, industrial facilities, commercial buildings and storage centers. Fluorescents are also used in the residential sector.
High Intensity Discharge
These light bulbs are used for large area lighting needs such as factories, warehouses, sports venues, street lights, public spaces, retail stores. They can also be used in residential security lighting and automotive head lamps.
Compact Fluorescents
Used in virtually any building structure for a wide variety of reasons. Whether it is for room lighting or door exit sign, you will find these CFL's virtually everywhere.
Halogen / Standard Flood
These bulbs are used in a variety of applications such as commercial building lighting, residential, stage lighting, automotive and more. These bulbs do not contain mercury but the components should be recycled versus landfilled.
U Tube
High output U-Tube Bent fluorescents are commonly used in warehouses, industrial facilities, commercial buildings and storage centres. Fluorescents are also used in the residential sector.
Mercury Vapor/Halide
These light bulbs are used for large area lighting needs such as factories, warehouses, sports venues, street lights, public spaces, retail stores. They can also be used in residential security lighting and automotive head lamps.
